THE SINGING GUIDE
Welcome
Sunday, 17 October 2021 18:33
Are you planning an event and want ideas for music?
Are you a singer that wants to learn how to sing louder and hit the high notes?
Are you a parent wanting to help your child develop their music and singing talent?
Are you an amateur or professional singer looking for songs suitable for your audition?
Welcome to my blog The Singing Guide. I’ll be covering these topics and many more all related to music and singing. If you are a musician, an event organiser or just someone interested in learning about music and singing, grab a cuppa and let the steam lubricate those vocal cords as you settle in to enjoy all the tips, tricks and musically related content.
If you haven’t already been for a snoop around my lovely shiny new website then this is your official invite to do so! As you’ll read in my about me section, I am a colouratura soprano singer, which basically means I sing exceptionally high and I love to sing and perform! I am a singer for hire and I always feel honoured to be invited to be a small part of important life events from weddings, funerals, anniversary parties and everything in between. When I’m not singing at events or concerts, I’m normally travelling about performing in different operas, doing voiceover at my studio or as you can already tell blogging for my website! To sum it up, basically, I’m not that keen on sitting still. To qoute the composer of West Side Story, Leonard Berstein,
“To achieve great things, two things are needed;
a plan, and not quite enough time."
I’ve added a comments section at the bottom of each blog page so please join in the conversation, make some suggestions for future blog posts or ask any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
